Windows Live Spaces Comment Spam Update: We are making great progress, but we need your help – Please report your recent spammers and their names to me.

Existing Spammer accounts are being disabled more quickly, and new accounts are more difficult for Spammers to get.

But, there are still many existing accounts posting spam comments in our Windows Live Spaces.

We need your help to stop Spammers. Please check your Windows Live Space for spam comments daily with this link:

http://profile.live.com/recentcomments/

and report your recent Spammers’ profiles and names in the comments of this blog entry:

“Windows Live Spaces Spam Central Reporting Service” is open for business again! Post spammer profile urls here.

Support has given me permission to collect the Spammer profiles and names and report directly to them. This saves us all the need to report spammers through Report Abuse individually.

The more quickly they are reported, the less spam they will post before their account is disabled.

If you ignore the Spammers, they win and we all lose. Please help us all and turn them in to me.

Please help restore the Windows Live Spaces community to the way it once was.

Thank you,

X MVPMicrosoft-MVP

I think you guys are going in the wrong direction. I\’m getting more spam now than I was a year ago. Not referencing comments but in reagards to Spaces Invitations for all sorts of useless drivel.

Very Cool ! I usually just click Ignore and then Block. I\’ll try to document and report from now on.
